LWB Members’ Blog

A potential new name for LWB, ‘Seeding Libraries’, has been sent for an in-depth trademark search to make sure that this potential name will not conflict with any other trademarked name(s) in Canada.  If this name poses any problems, a second in-depth trademark search will be done for the name ‘Library Seeds’.    We believe that these names represent how our organization will contribute to the growth and development of many aspects of libraries.

We are curious to know what LWB members are working on. Are you doing any special projects on international library development? Do you want to talk about various aspects of your project with other LWB members and learn about other library initiatives?

We’d like to create a space for people to share ideas and discuss their work, however we will have to remove any postings that are soliciting funds.

We look forward to hearing what you all are up to.

Please keep in mind our organization’s mission and values when considering your suggestions. We also encourage you to try a basic name search using Corporations Canada to verify that the name has not already been trademarked by another group.
